By using VidyaSetu, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services. Institutional clients may have additional obligations under their own privacy notices to students and staff.

2.1 Information you or your institution provide
- Identity and contact details (name, email, phone, admission / roll number, class, address)
- Account credentials and profile information
- Olympiad / exam registration details, parent/guardian contact (where collected), and profile / exam photos
- Payment-related metadata (amount, status, gateway references — not full card numbers, which are handled by payment providers)
- Support tickets, demo requests, and correspondence
- Institution branding assets and exam content uploaded by admins
2.2 Information collected during exams
- Attempt data (start/submit times, answers, scores, device / browser checks)
- Optional proctoring signals (camera/screen session metadata, integrity flags, invigilator notes)
- Generated documents (receipts, marksheets, answer sheets, certificates)
2.3 Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location
- Usage logs, pages visited, error logs, and security events
- Cookies and similar technologies needed for sessions and analytics
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and operate exams, registration, results, and certificates
- Authenticate users and protect account security
- Support invigilation, integrity monitoring, and fraud prevention

9. International Processing
Primary production systems for VidyaSetu are operated with infrastructure in India (including cloud regions such as AWS ap-south-1). If data is processed elsewhere, we apply appropriate safeguards.
10. Children's Privacy
VidyaSetu may be used by school-age students under institutional programmes. Institutions are responsible for obtaining any required parental/guardian consents. We do not knowingly market directly to young children.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date will change when we post revisions. Material changes may also be communicated to institutional contacts. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
